Snipers and DMR

Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) and sniper rifles are useful weapons in long-range combat. If you add a telescopic sight, you will be able to kill other players lethally, unseen or in relative safety.

Sniper and DMR weapons have several differences, but the main one is the bullet-feeding system. The snipers are bolt-on, meaning you need to take your eyes off the scope to trigger the next bullet. DRMs are semi-automatic and carry the bullet without player action, allowing you to keep your eyes on the crosshairs.

Kar 98

This vintage weapon has a strong shot and is common appear in loot all over the pitch. With the right extras, it can be very effective. However, it is only possible to reload bullet to bullet and, after each shot, it is necessary to take your eyes off the scope because it is a bolt gun. This can be dangerous if you don’t shoot down your enemies at first. It is also the only sniper that allows you to aim effectively with the original iron sights.

Rating: 7

M24

This powerful weapon uses the same caliber (7.62.mm) as the K98, AKM, Groza, and others. More stable and faster than the K98, it can fire at greater distances without wasting so much time reloading. If you get a larger loader, your enemies will tremble with fear.

Rating: 8

AWM

Monster, this shotgun can make you the king of the match. Using a type of bullet specially crafted for her, it ‘s PUBG’s deadliest weapon in the long-range. Even if your opponent is equipped with a helmet and level 3 vest, it only takes two shots to send him to hell. Unfortunately, this weapon only appears in crates and with only 20 bullets. If you’re lucky enough to get one, make those bullets worth it.

Grade 10

SKS

Semi-automatic Soviet technology, this weapon is very versatile, capable of effective long-range shooting with an above-average loader and power. With the right extras, you can increase your capacity up to 20 shots per loader and greatly improve your stability. In addition, it is a more common weapon that appears on the playing field and not just in crates.

Rating: 7

M14 EBR

Capable of self-shooting and slightly more powerful than the SKS, the M14 has a great impact on power. Unfortunately, it is a rare weapon that only appears in crates. The automatic mode may be useful in close combat, but its high caliber makes it very recoil in origin.

Rating: 8

SLR

A very precise weapon, capable of more damage than SKS, with slightly more recoil, the SLR is easy to change as it is possible to use different AR extras like sniper rifles.

Rating: 8

Mini 14

A weapon for all situations, the Mini 14 is hard to master but lethal in the right hands. Its caliber is 5.56mm, low for sniper gun, but the initial speed of the bullet pays off. It’s a pretty common weapon, so you don’t have to risk your life to get one in a crate. It’s only semi-automatic, so the shutter speed depends on your trigger finger (or mouse button). With the right extras, you can extend the magazine up to 30 bullets.

Rating: 6

QBU

There is only in Sanhok. The QBU is a semi-automatic weapon that replaces the Mini 14 on this map. It causes slightly more damage. Since it has a tripod of origin, whenever using the lying position the recoil is minimal, making it a perfect weapon for long shots in succession, very effective for chasing an enemy despite the small caliber.

Rating: 7

VSS

This sniper weapon is a difficult weapon to master, but there are situations where it is absolutely lethal. Has telescopic sight and silencer already installed, no need to pick up extras? It is very difficult to hear shots due to the subsonic caliber and silencer. Unfortunately, this slows down the bullet. It is a weapon designed to eliminate discreetly unprepared players. The most effective way to use this weapon is with quick bursts of 3 to 5 shots.

Rating: 6

Winchester Model 1894

Another vintage shotgun to set off your enemies in a classic way. This weapon is only suitable for experienced players as it does not allow the use of any type of sights. It is quite powerful and a better rate of fire is possible than Kar98 due to its lever. However, the bullet is slightly less powerful and takes longer to reload, even with extras.

Rating: 5

Assault Rifles

Assault Rifles are weapons designed for long and medium-range combat. They can fire on automatic fire, dealing damage quickly.

Assault Rifles
Weapon Damage Caliber Loader Shooting Modes Available
AKM 48 7.62 mm 30 Semi / Auto All Maps
M416 41 5.56 mm 30 Semi / Auto All Maps
M16A4 41 5.56 mm 30 Semi / Burst All Maps
Scar-l 41 5.56 mm 30 Semi / Auto Erangel / Miramar
Groza 48 7.62 mm 30 Semi / Auto Airdrop
AUG 44 ~ 5.56 mm 30 Semi / Auto Airdrop
QBZ 43 5.56mm 30 Semi / Auto Sanhok only

Mk47 Mutant 48 7.62 mm 20 Semi / Burst All Maps except Vikendi
G36C 41 5.56 mm 30 Semi / Auto Vikendi only
G36C

For now only available on the map Vikendi (PC version) the G36 is a SCAR-like assault rifle with a slightly higher rate of fire. It was not shown to have great accuracy in long shots, is more suitable for short and medium distances. The automatic fire has high recoil, so keep your gusts short.

Rating: 6

SCAR-L

A very stable weapon, with good mid-range and long-range shooting and a proper aim. The recoil is minimal for an automatic weapon, which means you get groups of shots well together. This improves its accuracy. It is not a powerful weapon. In automatic mode, it is very useful at close range.

Rating: 6

QBZ

QBZ replaces SCAR on the Sanhok map. It’s very versatile, causing slightly more damage (although some players say they don’t notice a difference) and some recoil. With the right extras is a weapon that fulfills its role well. It exists in large quantities by the map.

Rating: 6

M416

Probably PUBG’s most versatile weapon and a favorite with many players. Its automatic fire is super fast, which makes it very effective in close range combat, but is very accurate in medium and long-range as well. It has room for five extra accessories. If you can apply them all, this weapon becomes very manageable and accurate.

Rating: 8

M16A4

It uses the same ammunition as the SCAR and M416, so it doesn’t do much more damage. However, it is much more accurate than the previous two over long distances. It has no automatic mode, only burst mode. This mode is an ultra-fast 5-shot burst. The stability of this model is very poor, so limit it to short distances. The weapon allows no extras to improve stability, further compromising its accuracy in burst mode.

Rating: 7

AKM

This powerful shotgun can fulfill many roles. Right near the enemy is devastating. In the medium and long-distance, it is accurate. This is largely due to its caliber. Unfortunately, all this extra power also makes your stability very bad. It needs a lot of training to master.

Rating: 5

GROZA

Probably the best PUBG automatic rifle. Powerful, with a brutal and very stable rate of fire, it lets you fill your enemies with lead before they even pull the trigger. Unfortunately, it is a weapon that only exists in crates, being very rare. It also allows for few extras, including limiting the type of aim.

Rating: 9

AUG 3

The AUG is a 5.56mm caliber only boxed weapon and allows you to carry 5 extras. This improves loader capacity, accuracy and allows the use of all types of sights. No extra is an extremely accurate weapon, but with some vertical recoil, which limits its automatic use over a long-range.

Rating: 8

Beryl M762

Beryl uses the same caliber as AKM, causing less damage per shot but compensating with a higher cadence. It is quite easy to lose control of this weapon due to recoil, but you can use more extras to control this problem. The weapon has rails, allowing for more extras than the AKM.

Rating: 7

Mk47 Mutant

Half Ak47 Half Hk416 is a good way to describe this weapon. It has all the power of AKM with better accuracy and a nice two-shot blast in the middle range. In addition, you can use all the extras for assault rifles taking the butt. It is a good weapon for disciplined shooters but the lack of automatic makes it difficult to use at close range.

Rating: 8

Submachine guns

Submachine guns are weapons with a high rate of fire and usually poor accuracy. They are for medium to short distances, where, to win, it is necessary to be fast and shoot large quantities of bullets, in instinct fire.

Weapon Damage Caliber Shooting Mode Loader Available
MP5K 33 9 mm Semi / Auto / Burst 30 Vikendi
Micro Uzi 23 9 mm Semi / Auto 25 All Maps
UMP45 35 .45 Semi / Auto / Burst 30 All Maps
Kriss Vector 31 .45 Semi / Auto / Burst 13 All Maps
Tommy gun 38 .45 Semi / Auto 100 All Maps
Bison 35 9 mm Semi / Auto 53 Vikendi / Erangel
MP5K (New)

A classic from the world of shooting games now in PUBG. The MP5K replaces Vector only on the Vikendi map, with slightly more damage and a larger charger. However, it has a lower rate of fire. You can use all possible extras, making the weapon very effective over short and medium distances. Recoil is minimal even for a 900RPM rate of fire.

Rating: 7

Bison

Only available in Vikendi and Erangel, Bison is a good addition to PUBG’s arsenal. It does the same damage as the UMP and has a slightly lower cadence which helps its stability. The charger is large, allowing for longer shooting changes. It only allows tips and sights as extras but is relatively easy to control.

Rating: 8

Micro Uzi

Despite being the submachine gun that does the least damage, it pays off with a huge rate of fire. In milliseconds it is possible to drop an entire loader in the face of another player as long as he is very close. It exists in large quantities on the playing field. Unfortunately, it is impossible to aim at it, but it pays to use the extra stock.

Rating: 7

UMP45

This submachine gun is more accurate and powerful than the Micro Uzi at longer distances and more loader capacity. It is very stable even without extras. However, there are players who prefer Micro Uzi’s faster rate of fire. Overall, it’s a great weapon for close-quarters combat, but with some training, it is possible to get more long-range shots.

Rating: 8

Vector

Highly manageable, with a powerful caliber and great rate of fire, the Vector is an effective weapon in close combat. All sorts of extras can be used, further improving their stability. It has a big disadvantage in the capacity of the magazine because even with the extras, it can take up to 24 bullets at most. Combining this with the high rate of fire, you can quickly deplete your ammunition.

Rating: 8

Tommy gun

A classic weapon that is not easy to control. Despite being the submachine gun that deals with the most damage and carrying a few extras, it is very difficult to control the retreat, making the weapon unstable. However, the huge charger allows extended contact and at close range so the damage it causes is quite effective.

Rating: 6

Shotguns

This type of weapon is very common in-game. They are very effective at close range due to their high power but are relatively slow to recharge.

Weapon Damage Loader Effective Distance Extras Available
S686 25 per lead 2 10 to 30 meters 2 All Maps
S1897 25 per lead 5th 50 meters 2 All Maps
S12K 22 per lead 5th 10 to 30 meters 3 All Maps
Sawed-off 25 per lead 2 10 meters AT Miramar / Sanhok
DBS 25 by Lead 12 50 meters 1 Drop
DBS

An automatic shotgun with a capacity of 14 cartridges without reloading. The short distance is devastating. An opponent needs at least one tier 3 vest to survive a point-blank shot. Although it can couple the holographic, optronic, 2x and 6x sights, the damage done after 50 meters is minimal. What’s more, it’s only available in a drop, which doesn’t make much sense.

Rating: 6

S1897

This shotgun can carry 5 cartridges. Each of these cartridges carries 9 pellets that deal 25 damage each. This makes this weapon a real cannon. In unprotected enemies, death is practically certain with a single shot. Unfortunately, you need to refill the cartridges one by one and the effective distance is no more than 50 meters.

Rating: 5

S686

A classic hunting weapon with only two barrels and of course only two bullets. However, it is very powerful and even faster to recharge than the S1897. It is highly effective indoors. Since the double sinker is so powerful, it makes up for the lack of ammunition.

Rating: 7

S12K

PUBG’s only semi-automatic shotgun, the S12K can carry extras just like an assault rifle, but much more powerful. With the right extras, it is possible to use more cartridges in the loader, making it quite fearsome. However, after 25 to 30 meters, it is very difficult to hit the target effectively.

Rating: 8

Sawed-off

This shotgun is unique to the Miramar and Sanhok maps. It occupies the place of a pistol. It is very powerful but only results in a very short distance.
